Every detail of your maternity session is intentionally crafted. From start to finish, you’ll feel supported with styling guides, access to my curated client closet of elegant gowns and silks, and personalized set designs that reflect your vision. During your session, I’ll provide gentle posing direction so you can feel relaxed, radiant, and fully present in the moment.

As a Chicago maternity photographer, I recommend scheduling your session between 28–34 weeks of pregnancy, when your bump is beautifully round and you’re most comfortable.
To secure your spot, I recommend reaching out early in your second trimester. This gives us plenty of time to design a session tailored just for you.

1. Say Hello
After reviewing the investment details, the next step is to secure your date. Once your spot is secured with the retainer and contract, I’ll guide you through every detail. From selecting pieces from the client closet to planning your custom set design, everything is tailored so you feel fully prepared and excited for your session!
2. Schedule it
The planning stage is where your vision truly comes to life. Together, we’ll talk through every detail-whether you’re dreaming of a glamorous editorial look, something timeless and simple, or a blend of both. We’ll also discuss who you’d like to include like your partner, children, or if you’d prefer the focus entirely on you.
From there, I’ll design a session that feels intentional and personal with styling, set design, and guidance woven seamlessly into the process. This step ensures that when the day of your session arrives, everything has been thoughtfully prepared so you can simply relax and enjoy the experience.
3. Planning it
The day of your session is all about you. It’s your time to feel pampered and celebrated so treat yourself to hair, makeup, and a fresh manicure to highlight that beautiful pregnancy glow.
And the best part? You won’t need to stress about what to wear. My complimentary maternity client closet is filled with elegant gowns, flowing silks, and carefully curated pieces designed to make you look and feel your absolute best. All you need to do is arrive ready to enjoy this unforgettable experience.
4. Your Session
About two weeks after your session, you’ll return to the studio for your personal viewing and ordering appointment. This is where the magic truly happens, you’ll see your portraits beautifully retouched, displayed on a large screen, and ready to select as wall art, albums, or collections designed to become part of your home.
Together, we’ll walk through your favorites and create a set of heirloom pieces that will be treasured for generations. It’s more than just viewing your images-it’s the moment your memories become artwork.
5. Your Photographs
